Head of Operations

About the role
Véora is an ambitious digital healthcare company transforming access to medically supervised weight management. We are looking for an exceptional, hands-on Head of Operations to build a reliable, efficient organisation capable of scaling rapidly without compromising quality, patient experience or safety. You will own daily operational execution and establish the processes, teams and accountability needed to let the founder focus on strategic growth. This is not a customer-support coordinator role.
What you'll do
- Take ownership of daily operations and operational problem-solving.
- Design and implement scalable systems, workflows and escalation paths.
- Build and lead operational and patient support capacity as demand grows.
- Manage operational relationships with external service providers.
- Set and monitor service standards, operational KPIs and clear accountability.
- Improve efficiency, appropriate automation and cost control.
- Coordinate with clinical leadership on regulated processes, quality and incident escalation.
- Partner with product, technology and commercial teams to ensure operational readiness.
- Prevent recurring problems rather than only resolving individual incidents.
Who we're looking for
- 5+ years in operational leadership, including responsibility in a scaling organisation.
- Proven experience personally building or improving operating systems.
- Strong independent judgement, prioritisation and problem-solving.
- Experience with teams, suppliers, operational budgets and measurable KPIs.
- Exceptional attention to detail, execution discipline and ownership.
- Comfort with ambiguity, rapid change and cross-functional responsibility.
- Healthcare, healthtech, subscription or regulated-sector experience strongly preferred.
- Fluent Dutch and English.

Processes run reliably, patient experience stays strong and operational costs remain disciplined as the business scales. Clinical decisions remain with appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.
